Alternative ending to Star Wars VI - Empire Won.
So Luke and Leia (I take on the identity of Luke as this progresses) are on the newly built Death Star. They are subservient to Vader. He demonstrates the power of Death Star on a planet full of Jawas. It does not blow the planet up - the weapon is called "Tornado" (dumb, the name makes no sense) and flings energy torpedoes like boulders down on the planet. Horrible scene, really. Much death. The torpedoes basically hit, small craters like artillary shell, and produce shock waves that kill everything, but no nuclear fallout, fire, other lasting environmental impact.
Some really cool shots of Star Destroyers, TIE Fighters around us.
This aspect hints at the outer space / blackness / heights / existential / falling and nowhere to fall recurring deal as in other space travel dreams, but pull back into Death Star.
Leia and I are trying to hide our true intent, as we have not really gone over. So while Vader cannot read our true intent, the act of hiding is a psychological disruption he can sense. And of course, what would he hide except that we hadn't truly gone over, so I have a great fear of being found out. Furthermore, I cannot probe his thoughts for a similar disruption, as such a probe would be equally suspiscious. Frightening and uncomfortable ... going down corridor with him, can only try to think about obvious things, such as focusing on details of my environment.
